Jim Lo Scalzo’s autobiographical documentary on MediaStorm is a must-watch for anyone who wants to make pictures for a living. Lo Scalzo, a former photojournalist for U.S. News and World Report, has been chasing his dream of capturing The Big Moment since he was a teenager. ” The piece, titled “Evidence of My Existence” is a manic exposition of a life in photojournalism and the consequences of obsessive wanderlust. While a tad extreme, it does provide a keen insight into the mind of the photojournalist the likes of which not seen since “War Photographer,” the titular documentary about James Nachtwey.
